Mia the fish

Mia has been taking swimming lessons three times a week at her school, and this past weekend she took us to the pool to show us her stuff. The last time either of us went swimming with Mia was in England. She loved the pool, but she never left our arms and she always had floaties on. Now she is the totally secure little swimmer who is completely comfortable in the shallow end of the pool--no mommy, no floaties. It was totally shocking to see her just jump in. Here are some pictures of her playing with her best friend, Tig. Tig has been one of Mia's best buddies since we moved here. Tig attends school with Mia at the JCC and they are in religious school together at the synagogue.
