Update

The first and most amazing change is in Mia. Take a look and see what you think!

Doesn't she look like her mommy? I cannot believe how much they look alike.

This weekend was a brutal one for me. Starting on Thursday, we started to build a fence. Our neighbors and us are putting a beautiful cedar fence in. The hardest part came first. We dug post holes. 38 to be exact. This was an amazing exercise in patience, stamina, and male prowess. We rented a big auger to due the dirty work, or so we thought. Actually, we ended up renting an auger and then had to not only dig the posts, but also had to continually get the auger unstuck. I suppose in the end it was easier, but it sure didn't feel that way. We dug a little work on Thursday night, all day Friday, I went to work overnight on Friday, dug all day on Saturday, and finished on Sunday. Anybody who knows me knows that a man my size is often expected to do all the work, but really I am just fragile. I was meant for supervision, not labor. At any rate we finished and the next step is going to be to set the posts. I will let you know how that goes!

The upside of this weekend is that Mia got to spend it either playing with mommy or her best friend, Sia. Mia was in her heyday. I can't believe how much energy that kid has - especially considering how little she eats.
At least she eats her cereal. She calls them blues clues, but really they are grains that have been sprouted and then cooked. They really are quite healthy. Just another way we trick her into eating.

Mia started baseball, actually it is t-ball. She really doesn't like it, but she goes anyway. The best game she had was last week when her aunt and cousin went. She had two hits, two runs, and three catches. She was so proud. I was just happy that the scrum that formed around the ball each time a kid hit it didn't kill Mia. There really are no rules other then once the ball is hit, and it's always hit because there are no outs, strikes, or balls, then everyone chases after it. The kid who gets the ball then throws it to home base, actually turns out to be the kid with the ball brings it back to the T for the next kid - aren't they nice. The kid who hit the ball is then allowed to run one base at a time.
This is her uniform. She is on the Marlins.

We are little late in posting this, but Mia graduated from Pre-K. She is now going to Camp which actually appears to be very similar to her Pre-K, but with a new name and t-shirt for the kids.

Mia also had an official dance recital. She was asked to perform at Carnage Hall, but had to turn it down because she thought the world was not ready for her new form of interpretive dance. Mia loves to dance. She has started dancing on a small exercise trampoline. She dances to Hip Hop. Her favorite artist is Justin Timberlake.

Careful Mia, don't get smooshed in the chair!
